Today, August 11, is Patrick Cudahy Day at the Wisconsin State Fair. Cooking demonstrations, competitions, photo booth, Prize Wheel and plenty of entertainment will fill the day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in West Allis.
For over one hundred years, Patrick Cudahy has crafted premium meats with authentic flavor and genuine goodness, including signature Sweet Apple-Wood Smoked bacon, ham, deli meats and sausage.
“There will be no shortage of fun for bacon lovers,” said Bud Matthews, Senior Vice President, Patrick Cudahy, LLC. “Everything we do, it’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to everyone who supports us. We appreciate their patronage and we want to make every effort to make it their best summer yet.”
Patrick Cudahy will have plenty of entertainment on the Central Park stage. The Patrick Cudahy Barbershop Quartet will be singing their sweet harmonies throughout the day, and brand Chef Mike Wales will take center stage for live cooking demonstrations featuring innovative recipes that highlight the sweet apple-wood smoked flavor of Patrick Cudahy’s new products: Black Forest Bacon, Riojano Chorizo and Lunch Packs lunch meat.
The Wisconsin State Fair began on August 3 and will run through August 13. Musical acts for the fair include John Mellencamp, The Beach Boys, The Temptations, Pentatonix, Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack, Patti Labelle and En Vogue.
